This is a very nice nursing home, actually the best one I've been to in NYC so far! The nurses are mostly attentive, and the visiting hours are generous. They have more hours devoted to PT than any other nursing home I've been to yet. The facilities are very clean.
A happy place where laughter, meticulous care, patience and expertise are abundant. Staff is a diverse family in which everyone gets along. You won't find a better administered facility providing such effective care services anywhere. Stop Looking! Therapists will see to it that you are far stronger leaving than arriving (you may even feel a degree of reluctance in leaving the friendly folk there).
I came back this time because the therapists were so caring and encouraging last time. I was so surprised, they all remembered me. I don’t know how the therapists, nurses and CNAs do it day after day. They are so devoted to their patients. They laugh and cry with me, and in such a gentle and supportive way.
When I came to rehab a few weeks ago, I couldn’t walk. Now I can.
