The Margaret Tietz Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation offers residents traditional western medical care together with an alternative holistic program that focuses on the physical, mental and spiritual well-being of its patients.
The Center has a licensed acupuncturist who seeks to integrate the best techniques from both conventional and alternative medicine. He looks for underlying causes of imbalances and patterns of disharmony in the body.
Residents can enjoy the healing benefits of heat therapy, massage and other holistic services in the comfort of their own room. The most common symptoms treated in the holistic program are pain, wounds, paralysis and psychological disorders.
