Health Services
A Warm Welcome
Since 1971, the Margaret Tietz Nursing and Rehabilitation Center has embraced each of our residents with compassionate care and individualized treatment. Upon admission, each resident is assigned their own team of medical, rehabilitation, therapeutic recreation and social services professionals who coordinate all aspects of their care.
The Tietz Center provides a warm, loving atmosphere for our long-term care residents – a “neighborhood” environment – that requires an energetic and devoted team of more than 300 employees who carefully listen and respond to residents’ and family members’ needs and wishes. Our experienced, qualified personnel focus on residents’ preferences, building trust and nurturing relationships to create a home-like environment. To further help people feel at home, we have a diverse staff that speak many languages and understand cultural differences.
Many specialty medical services are available including wound care, palliative care, pain management, inpatient/residential hospice, and integrative medicine.
Recreational activities abound and there is something for everyone — from crafts and music to cooking, choruses and religious services for all faiths. Our courtyard garden and indoor/outdoor terrace areas enhance the home-like atmosphere.
