About the Tietz Jewish Mission

We are a 5 Star Deficiency Free Facility

A 200 bed facility located in the Jamaica Hills section of Queens, The Tietz Center was founded in 1971 with the mission of serving Holocaust Survivors. While serving the broader community, the Tietz center is still focused on making Tietz a comfortable destination for the Jewish community.

Visiting students from local schools and Bikur Cholim volunteers are an exuberant presence in our halls. Residents enjoy a broad array of stimulating recreational activities and cultural programs, including Holiday celebrations and Torah study groups. We are a deficiency free and five-star facility.
